Project Wild Earth
Donation protected
We are a family of four embarking on an overland journey that will take us across 100+ countries with the aim to help preserve and protect our wild Earth. The project will contribute to higher levels of biodiversity meaning healthier and more resilient ecosystems.
Here are a few examples of the types of Projects we have covered while on our journey:
Pollinators and Predators: Beekeeping's Role in Snow Leopard Survival
We will continue to curate a collection of stories told by rangers, local people, members of government, NGOs, and corporations, as well as self-starters, entrepreneurs, and others we meet on the road. It is through these stories that we will shine a light on, and support various social and environmental impact projects with our time, skillsets, network, and ideas. We will inform and educate people about the challenges our planet faces and how they can get involved, while also inspiring them to take action and protect the natural spaces within their own communities. We will offset our entire journey through our membership and partnership with Mossy Earth. For more info, please click here: https://projectwildearth.com/

We are looking to raise funds for the project storytelling aspect specifically.
The folllowing is how the funds will be used. This a list we have compiled whilst actually doing this on the road:
- Internet Data from country to country (We go through a lot while moving and backing up files)
- Starlink so we can operate in very remote places
- Storage - SD/External and Cloud
- Purchase more professional editing software
- Translation services if no one in the local area speaks english
- Camera lenses and repairs
- Microphones
- DJI Gimbal for filming with the phone
- Spare batteries for camera/drone
- Update computers (They're old and can't handle what we're now doing)
- Update phones (They're old and can't handle what we're now doing)
- Subtitle conversion software if languages not supported by YouTube
- Drone repairs and maintenance
- Visas for all of us (This can sometimes include flights to go to certain locations and accommodation while we wait - this is out of our control and varies from country to country)
- Permits to restricted areas
- Vehicle maintenance for car and trailer while going to these very remote destinations
- Fuel and carnet de passage to get us to these locations
- Insurance while doing this for equipment, family, car and trailer
- Suitable accommodation to have a break and specifically work on stories.
Thank you so much for all your help and support in advance! We will continue to do our absolute best while balancing a young family on the road.
