I am volunteering my time to help bring a very special project to life at my daughter’s school in Wandsworth — a sensory room designed to support children who need a safe, calming, and stimulating space to learn, grow, and feel included.

A sensory room provides tailored equipment, lighting, textures, and sounds that can help children with additional needs regulate their emotions, improve focus, and feel more comfortable in their school environment. It’s not just a room — it’s a space where children can thrive.

With the school’s support, I am leading this project entirely as a volunteer. Every penny raised will go directly towards creating the sensory room from specialist equipment to soft furnishings so that it can benefit children for years to come.
