Saving Rania Relief Fund
You may or may not have seen our recent efforts to try to get some donations to help Rania Peet out during these crazy times we are facing. The COVID-19 Pandemic has wiped out income streams for a whole lot of people… including Rania. After talking with Rania for a bit, I learned just how dire of a situation she is in.
Art is Rania’s livelihood. Making art for everyone to enjoy at festivals, haunts, and other events has been her passion and career for over 20 years now. You’ve seen her artwork if you’ve ever been to Big Dub, Nightmare Festival, Dreamscape Festival, Markoffs Haunted Forest, Haunted Overload, Fever, Love Burn, Epic Adventure… the list could go on and on.

But so far this year, as we all know, events have come to a screeching halt. Every single planned revenue stream that Rania had lined up for the year has ceased to exist. After 3 months of 0 employment opportunities and trying to live off of credit alone, things have gotten financially precarious to say the least.
Between obvious things like house payments, utilities, cable/internet, phone bills, etc, Rania also is in need of some vital home and auto repairs that are really crushing her in the face of a dead events season. Her health insurance has also lapsed making her unable to see a doctor for chronic medical issues. If she doesn’t find some sort of relief soon, this is going to lead into the slow season without her having any chance of keeping afloat. She will end up losing everything.
We as her friends, family, community, and appreciators of the art she has continually labored over for our enjoyment, can save this beautiful woman and keep her dream and art alive. Between everyone who enjoyed Big Dub Pirate Ship Stage, The Big Dub Mushrooms, and everyone who ever attended Fam Jam, we can really help out someone who has truly impacted all of our lives.

This GoFundMe is asking for $5k to start off with for her most immediate needs. This is a very achievable goal that will make a decent dent in what Rania is facing. I have faith in our community to be able to pull together to support our friend who helped paint so many beautiful memories for us over the years.
What is this money going to go towards:
Car Repairs - $2,500 - She needs a clutch, tires, and tune up to make it driveable
Power Bill - $3,000
Health Insurance - $1,200
Cable/Internet - $200
House Repairs - $7,000 - Plumbing and Roof repair
If anyone who reads this is in the automotive or contracting/plumbing business that thinks they can possibly help with her car or her home, please reach out!

Please help us help our power tools wielding deco fairy.

Please also check out her small business! Get you an OG Cloud lamp for your space!
