Project Perfect World Fall 2024 Mission Trip

Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Project Perfect World Foundation, Inc., and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me.

Project Perfect World (PPW) is an organization run by volunteers dedicated to subsidizing the healthcare needs of children in underserved areas around the world, providing life-changing surgeries and care to children who would be left untreated. Our efforts are focused on delivering high-quality, pediatric orthopedic care at Roberto Gilbert Hospital in Guayaquil, one of the largest pediatric hospitals in Ecuador.
Ecuador’s children do not always have access to early screening and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions such as hip dysplasia, clubfeet, spina bifida, and cerebral palsy. Untreated, they become debilitating problems that would be challenging in any environment, much less the desperately poor conditions and lack of healthcare these children encounter.

How PPW Helps:

PPW’s team of highly skilled orthopedic surgeons and supporting resources travel to Ecuador twice a year to help these children receive needed operative care that transforms their quality of life. With two trips per year, the PPW team can help follow up with previous patients while building the respect and trust of the local community. With over two decades of consistent care, the longevity and continuity of this program make it special. Maintaining our equipment within the hospital enables us to travel lean and provide the best care for the most children and forge lasting relationships with the medical and philanthropic leaders of Guayaquil.

We work closely with the local Ecuadorian orthopedic surgeons and residents to educate and assist them so that they can become empowered to provide quality and accessible services to their community. Local collaboration between PPW and the Damian House, a charity for those afflicted with Hansen’s disease, provides even more opportunities for community service, education and cultural perspective. To learn more about the Damien House, visit http://www.thedamienhouse.org/index.html.

Each trip is made up of a team of 25-30 volunteers from all over the US, including both clinical and non-clinical members. On average, 100 patients are seen in the clinic and 20-25 surgeries are performed during each weeklong tip.

We are looking for your support! Please consider donating to Project Perfect World so that we can continue to provide this important resource to the children and families so in need of our assistance. Every dollar that you donate is used to provide life-changing healthcare to a child in need. If we can raise $75,000, we can make this trip a reality again!

Project Perfect World is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity and all donations to PPW are 100% tax deductible.

Our Mission: To improve the health of the world’s children through quality medical intervention, mentoring with local medical colleagues and infrastructure development.
