Project Peanut Butter

Hi, my name is Tara and I’m fundraising money for a loving stray dog named peanut butter that I recently found on New Years day. Upon finding her I discovered that her tail had been ripped apart to the bone and she was massively malnourished. We rushed her to the vet and the doctor told us that the only way to heal her is to give her a full tail amputation. Since the doggo is much older and not a puppy, this operation costs $1549 (minus the pre-op bloodwork.) We talked about the possibility of taking her to a shelter to get her the treatment she needs but we were told pretty blatantly by the vet that she will be euthanized if we do so. I’m currently a college student and don’t have the means to pay for the bill myself. I’m not typically the kind of person to go out and ask for money but I have never felt a stronger connection or met a sweeter dog in my life and I know I can give peanut butter a proper home.
