Project Oz Runaway Youth Prevention
Tax deductible
Hello everyone! Our group #HalfAndHalf is a part of a group communication course here at Illinois State University. Professor Koch has instructed us to work with a non profit organization to promote their cause. As a group, we decided to team up with a local non- profit organization here in Bloomington, IL. Project Oz helps support and house run away children. Whether they were abused physically, mentally, or emotionally, these young adults need shelter and guidance. Project Oz offers drug and alcohol recovery programs and counseling services. Through fundraising techniques, specialized run events, and time spent volunteering, as a group, we are asking for your help. Yes, YOU can help us with our project. Our goal is to raise $800, but that is not a limit. The more we raise as a unit, the more young adults will be taken care of. The money will go towards necessities such as, food, beverages, soap, pillows, blankets, and other things needed to house these individuals. This organization does incredible things for these people, as they request no fee from these young adults. This project means a lot to each and every one of us. Anything you can donate means more to us than you'll know. Thanks in advance!
