Ashford Oaks Primary School - Project Outdoor Learning

At Ashford Oaks Primary School we are dedicated to providing an inclusive, diverse and enriched curriculum for every single student to access. As part of this we would love to develop our outdoor areas including:
- Pond renovation - To enable us to teach the children Science topics such as life cycles, wildlife, microsystems and pond dipping. This will also create a tranquil, calm, sensory area for other subjects such as Art.
- Small farm - We would love to set up a small farm for the children to enjoy and learn from. Not only will this provide academic opportunities but will help our children to learn responsibility and a sense of achievement.
- Outdoor equipment - To encourage a love of being and playing outside.
This project will allow our children to learn outside of the classroom and give them opportunities that they might not otherwise have.
