My name is Harold Timm and I live in Miami, FL USA. I was born in Maracaibo, Edo. Zulia, Venezuela at the Coromoto Hospital in Mcbo. As many of you may not know I was born and raised in Venezuela until the age of 12. My father was an American professor in Agronomy at the local university in Maracaibo (LUZ) and my mother a Colombian national working at the same university. I was lucky enough to be born with the gift of American citizenship and left for the U.S. at age 12.

Venezuela has been going through a lot of hardships in the last 12+ years. There is a family there who the father, Euler, is a professor at the same university that my father taught at when he lived in Venezuela. He has a wife and two children who are hungry, scared for their personal safety due to the rise in crime and need our help now. The son Luis David is 21 and the daughter Gabriela is 15. Both are in school and living at home. Euler’s current salary as a professor in Agronomy is the equivalent of $20.00 USD per month!! The family constantly runs out of food and basic needs such as deodorant and toilet paper due to massive shortages, inflation and price gauging. The Venezuelan economy has collapsed. There are shortages of almost every basic food and toiletry item in the country. People are actually seen eating out of garbage piles on the street, pic included.

I am asking for donations so we can send non-perishable food items, toiletries, clothing, seeds for urban gardens, tools and batteries. No donation is too small. Please help us as 100% of your donations will go to Venezuela with a reliable Miami based secured shipping company that guarantees all deliveries to Maracaibo, Venezuela. My team and I will pack all the boxes and purchase all materials. Our goal is to be sending as many boxes as we can in 2022. We have a goal of shipping 24 boxes. Two boxes have already been shipped!
