Project Meher is our Nonprofit Rescue Organization that was established in honor of our girl, Meher, who was born blind on the streets of Mumbai.
After having gone through this process of adopting Meher and then also Bonnie from the same rescuer, Vinita, Jill and I decided to partner with Vini and start out on a journey to save as many dogs and cats as we can.
Our focus is mainly on the many stray and special needs animals that live on the streets of Mumbai, but it is our goal to rescue animals in need right here in the US as well.
In order to have this be the full-time job of our partner and for us to have the resources to take in, foster and nurse back to health as many pets as possible, we need to raise critical funds for things like transportation, vet bills, food, beds, etc. Any contribution made will go entirely to the needs of Project Meher and the costs associated with finding furever homes for all our animals then getting them to those homes.
Lastly, our goal of $50,000 is a long term goal. Nonprofit rescues operate exclusively on donations and adoption fees so every and any amount is graciously accepted and greatly appreciated
