Project Jeevan: Giving Voice to the Voiceless

Hello! My name is Aishwarya Bharathram and I'm the President of the youth-led initiative Help, Save, and Protect, an animal rescue/rehab organization. Over the past eight years, I’ve worked with passionate youth and kind-hearted communities to plant native greenery, raise funds for shelters, collect donations for wildlife centers, and most importantly, save the lives of many injured and abandoned animals.

I’m launching an initiative throughout India called Project Jeevan. Stray dogs lie by the road in 110°F heat with no water. Cows roam hungry and get chased away by vendors just trying to protect their food. Birds fall from trees from heatstroke. They can’t speak. But I can. And I will.

Project Jeevan will:

Install sturdy water bowls and tubs in shaded, high-traffic areas

Create "Cow Corners" to safely feed and redirect stray cows, reducing conflict with vendors

Run school workshops to teach compassion and practical steps for helping strays

Put up posters and stickers to spread awareness and build a local kindness movement

Recruit and empower local volunteers to sustain the impact

We’re calling this our “Jeevan Crew” — a community-led force of kindness.

But I need your help. Your donation will go directly toward buying bowls, printing materials, transporting water, building cow corners, and equipping volunteers. Even $10 can hydrate dozens of animals daily. Every act of compassion counts. Any remaining funds will go directly towards financing our rescues or towards other organizations.
