Hi everyone!
We are the grandkids of the Gayeski Family (Volpe, Gayeski, Higgins, and Dinuzzo Families). Though we are just a crew of cousins from New Jersey, we want to do our part in helping those affected by this pandemic. While most of us are dealing with cabin fever, cooped up in the house for so long with our families and struggling to get along, there are many people in hospital rooms, alone and longing for any type of contact with their families. Whether they have COVID-19 or they are just plain old sick, they are alone and we can help, but WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
Patients in the hospital are unable to see their loved ones. Doctors and nurses sometimes resort to putting their own phones in a plastic bag so their patients can see their families. Even if the family were to call the hospital, the healthcare worker would have to de-glove, de-mask, and de-gown, wasting all of that precious protective equipment, and by the time they are done, the family has barely any time to speak to their loved ones. Our mission is to raise money to buy iPads that can be sent to hospitals and nursing homes so these patients can see their loved ones.
Any amount you can give is appreciated. We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, which means your contributions are tax deductible. We will begin with donating to our local hospitals and nursing homes in NJ and NY, but welcome requests from any hospital or care facility that can put these iPads to good use.
