Rebuild Lives, Restore Hope: Support Project Horaya and Make a Difference

Join us in a noble cause that will change lives and bring hope to a resilient community. We are seeking your support to raise $30,000 for the building fund deposit of Project Horaya—a beacon of light emerging from the devastating Liberian and Sierra Leonian civil wars.

The conflict, which began on December 24, 1989, spilled over into Guinea and the Ivory Coast, wreaking havoc on the four nations. The citizens of Konia bore the brunt of the violence, initially sparked by a revolution against injustice and wealth inequality. However, the conflicts soon mutated into acts of ethnic and religious cleansing, targeting citizens for simply being who they were.

The aftermath of this tragedy is a heart-wrenching story of loss and despair. Over two hundred thousand precious lives were lost, and millions of dollars' worth of private and public properties lay in ruins. Labor and land were wasted, natural resources pillaged, and capital fled. The socio-economic development we once dreamed of came to a standstill, leaving behind a bleak future for hundreds of thousands, particularly the vulnerable—the elderly, women, and children.

But amidst the darkness, there is a flicker of hope. The exodus of the Grand Konia Citizens of the Diaspora presents an opportunity for a well-meaning and well-balanced economic and political recovery. Together, we can become a unified force, creating a common platform to address our local and global problems.

Our vision is to establish a community center, a sanctuary that will generate autonomous revenue. This center will address pressing issues such as immigration, social welfare, and even provide daycare for adults and children. It will be a hub for training, legal aid, health screenings, and information sharing. We want to create an environment that fosters growth, transparency, and accountability—a pathway to empower our constituents to take control of their education, health, and social welfare.

We understand the power of image, brand, impression, lifestyle, and culture in bringing a community alive. Through extensive research and observation, we have identified the key ingredients that have kept us together throughout the years. We have realized that by organizing and intertwining our entrepreneurial skills with our beliefs, we can create a perfect marriage—a synergy that preserves our cultural values.

Our mission is clear: to provide, support, inspire, reawaken, reinvigorate, sponsor, and nurture the political and entrepreneurial potentials and skills within our community. Through this corporation, we will guide and guard our lives, cultures, religion, and investments within the confines of the laws of the United States of America.

Together, we can transform the current mindset of our constituents, shifting from individual entrepreneurial concepts to a positive sectarian corporate enterprise. This transformation will create a more meaningful, enabling environment—a space for capacity building and group empowerment.

Before December 24, 1989, the citizens of Konia dominated the Sub-Regional Markets. We excelled in various industries such as diamonds, gold, transportation, jewelry, local produce, and more. However, our commercial opportunities remain fragmented and disorganized. Despite our entrepreneurial skills and commercial aggression, we have yet to form a united front—whether at a local, regional, or global level.

The consequences of this disunity are severe. Our failure to come together continues to drain resources from our communities. Instead, smaller, more powerful groups hold sway, while our collective organization, the Grand Konia Organization, struggles to make an impact. Our common core, Islam, which forms the foundation of our identity, is not strong enough to protect us structurally and economically.

This is where Project Horaya steps in. Our overall justification is to construct a community center that addresses all our social, legal, economic, and political needs. This center will be a sanctuary for training, daycare, legal aid, health screenings, tutorials, and more. It will create an efficient, transparent, and accountable economic corridor, empowering our constituents to care for their education, health, and social welfare.

Today, we turn to you, compassionate supporters, to help us raise the $25,000 needed for the building fund deposit. Your contribution will be a beacon of hope, igniting a future of empowerment for the citizens of Konia. Together, we can rebuild lives, preserve culture, and restore faith.

Join us in this transformative journey. Let us craft a future of hope, opportunity, and unity for the citizens of Konia. Your support matters. Your belief in our cause matters. Together, let's make a lasting impact with Project Horaya.

Donate now and be part of the change we all long for.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.

Warm regards,

Sam Mohammed Kromah
