Project Grocery Grant

This past week my friends and I (4 highschoolers from Apex Friendship and Apex Highschool) have started this GoFundMe campaign to raise grocery money for people in our community who have lost their jobs during the Coronavirus outbreak. We are aware of the implications the pandemic has had on many people in our community and we find it to be our civic duty to help these people afford basic necessities. We have already been in contact with several local businesses regarding their employees that have been put out of work. By doing this we are able to give our Grocery Grant application to their employees who might be in need of grocery money. When an individual fills out the form our team is able to better hear the unique story behind each applicant and then offer them a Grocery Grant. They will receive money in any form they choose (Venmo, Check, Gift card to their preferred grocery store, etc.). All donations will go straight to those unemployed in the community, zero administrative fees will be charged.

Being just four highschool students we know that this is not a goal we can achieve ourselves, so we are calling upon everyone to help their community in any way that they can.
