Hello... we are The Base.

We are a dramatic production company and we have spent the last two years building a cultural movement aimed at revitalising the dramatic arts, defending the wonders of Western Civilisation alongside a drive to create fearless new and exciting work.

Most recently, our Project 39 recognises Shakespeare is the key cultural battleground and we need to protect his works from misappropriation. We set out to film great actors performing a short speech from every single Shakespeare play. The first half is now available online -

We have already filmed 22 of these speeches and we are really hoping we can film the last 17 in the very near future and complete this project. We would be ever so grateful if you might be kind enough to help us with this.

We are creating a potent online platform where we inspire our followers into the study, cultural enrichment and fortitude that thinkers like Plato, Plutarch, Aristotle and many more provide. We’ve partnered this with interviews with Dr. Iain McGilchrist, John Vervaeke and in April we will discuss the nature of tragedy with the philosopher John Gray.
