A new year, new opportunities...

And now, July 1st, 2025 — exactly half a year later:

Two weeks ago, I was reunited with my rescue dogs and returned to Thailand. I'm now in a beautiful place in Pranburi, staying with a woman named Hanli. She has been dedicated to helping stray animals for many years through sterilization projects. She also has experience working in other shelters, and we share the same vision. Sterilization is the key to saving the population while allowing the animals to remain in their natural environment as much as possible.

I’m grateful to be back and to fully commit myself to being here for the dogs and cats. I want to provide them with the essential basics they need in order to create more peace and stability in their free and safe environment.

The basis needed to inhibit the stray population is sterilizing/neutering dogs and cats. Creating a healthy habitat through vaccination, Rabies, tick control and deworming. And I think that if there is food, water and shelter for their existing living environment, they will cause less nuisance and possibly show less aggressive behavior.

It is not easy to achieve this and there is a lot involved. We have learned a lot together and there is a stable basic for now in Pranburi. And through collaboration and joining forces with current foundations, local people and supporters, we save more lives.

There are also many more ideas and projects that I already have for the future. However, I feel that the foundation starts here and thanks to Hanli I can realize that together with her in Thailand.

Did you have any good intentions for the new year? Or do you want to do a good deed? You can donate from as little as 1 euro.

Through my blog and socials I will keep you up to date with the current pack (Ki, Tan, Jade, Ruby, and Hope) in Thailand. (And other things that keep me busy).

1000 baht is 1 sterilisatie voor een vrouwtjes hond.
