127 Miles. Nonstop. For a Cause That Matters.

In December, we’re taking on an incredible challenge, running the entire Leeds to Liverpool Canal, all 127 miles, nonstop ‍

We’re doing it to raise money for children and families who need extra support over Christmas, helping to bring warmth, food, and a bit of joy during the toughest time of year

Every mile, every step, every blister will be worth it to make a difference.

Phase 3 - after the run

Plan A - Making Christmas Magical

This is what it’s all about the moment all those miles, blisters, and sleepless hours turn into something truly special.

After the run, we’ll be using one of our Heart of the Trail buses to pick up children from care homes across Bradford and Leeds for a Christmas day out they’ll never forget.

We’ll take them shopping for toys, clothes, and food, letting them choose what makes them happy because every child deserves to feel special, valued, and seen.

Each child will have a £500 budget for the day, and with 4-10 children per home, we’re planning to support around three local care homes.

That means around £20,000 of the £100,000 goal will go directly into creating an unforgettable day for the kids.

The remainder will be donated directly to the homes to support ongoing care and help more children throughout the year.

Plan B - No Child Left Behind

Even if we don’t reach our full fundraising goal, the mission doesn’t stop.

If the budget doesn’t allow for the full day out, we’ll still make sure that every child gets a personal gift this Christmas.

On Christmas Eve, we’ll fill our bus with toys, clothing, and presents and personally deliver them to the care homes , making sure that no child wakes up on Christmas morning without something special waiting for them.

Because Project 127 isn’t about how much we raise it’s about showing love, hope, and togetherness.

Every mile, every donation, and every act of kindness brings us closer to giving these kids the Christmas they deserve.
