Somos Ashley y Linsay, papás de una guerrera llamada Ailanys Isabelle. Ella nació prematura de 29 semanas con tan solo 2 libras y 11 onzas, y desde el primer día ha tenido que luchar contra múltiples complicaciones médicas.

A sus cortos dos meses de vida, fue diagnosticada con síndrome de intestino corto, una condición que no le permite absorber los nutrientes necesarios para crecer. Su vida depende de nutrición intravenosa y cuidados médicos constantes.

Los doctores nos explican que, aunque ahora lo más importante es estabilizarla, en un futuro cercano tendrá que ser trasladada a un hospital especializado en rehabilitación intestinal, ya que existe un alto riesgo de que necesite un trasplante de intestino para poder sobrevivir.

Nuestra familia no cuenta con los recursos para cubrir los gastos médicos, traslados y estadía. Por eso, con el corazón en la mano, le pedimos ayuda.

We are Ashley and Linsay, proud parents of a little warrior named Ailanys Isabelle. She was born prematurely at 29 weeks, weighing only 2 pounds 11 ounces, and from her very first day of life she has had to fight through multiple medical complications.

At just two months old, she was diagnosed with short bowel syndrome, a condition that prevents her body from absorbing the nutrients she needs to grow. Her life depends on intravenous nutrition and constant medical care.

The doctors have explained to us that, although stabilizing her is the most urgent priority right now, in the near future she will need to be transferred to a hospital that specializes in intestinal rehabilitation, since she is at high risk of requiring an intestinal transplant to survive.

Our family does not have the financial resources to cover medical expenses, transportation, and housing. That is why, with our hearts in our hands, we are asking for your help.
