Professor Sensei James Farinas Dedication Funds
Donation protected
Representing Markle Gold Team on behalf of Professor Sensei James "Fajita" Farinas, we are raising money to assist the family with expenses.
James dedicated his life to the pursuit of knowledge gained from martial arts; receiving his black belt in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo. As a teenager, jiu jitsu took James to train in Hawaii and Japan and compete on the world stage at PanAms and Abu Dhabi trials. After suffering a severe knee injury, James stepped away from jiu jitsu for 7 years prior to returning under Jorge "Macaco" Patino Gold Team where he received his black belt.
James was a cornerstone of Markle Gold Team, instructing both adults and children in bjj. Always first to arrive and last to leave, his footprint at the gym will be forever imprinted.
In addition to his passion for jiu jitsu, James was an accomplished competitive pitsol shooter and dedicated Customer Service Manager of Radical Firearms, LLC.
On Sunday, November 15, James passed suddenly leaving behind his parents and brother, as well as a large void within the jiu jitsu community. Funds collected will be given to the family to assist with various expenses during this difficult time.
