Post Graduate Program in California

In 2020, I was asked to tutor a four year old boy who had no more than four words in his vocabulary. He was removed from his school and isolated from his peers, all because he struggled to communicate. Little did I know, this child would change my life. I was compelled to take an introduction class to Communication Disorders so I could learn how to help this child. I fell in love and switched my major.

I am happy to share that I have recently graduated William Paterson University with a B.S in Communication Disorders and have been accepted into a post graduate speech therapy fieldwork program, at California State University Northridge!

The reason I created this fundraiser is because I find myself needing financial assistance for this program. Unfortunately, the program does not offer any financial aid and it has caused a great deal of stress. Your donations will help with tuition, transporting my car, housing and living expenses, and my flight to California.

My end goal is to become a certified pediatric speech language pathologist. I want to open a private practice dedicated to serving those in underserved communities and help children like the one I tutored. With this program and your help, I will be one step closer to my dream.
