Hello! I'm Jay McDowell, a film student at Wayne State currently producing a student film Vicki , written and directed by Jazzlyn Bizzotto. Vicki is a romantic-thriller that also serves as a drug awareness piece tackling some of the darker themes of addiction. Jazz originated the idea of Vicki earlier in 2025 and from the moment she shared it with me I knew it would be a hit. It went on to become one of the two pitches chosen for our capstone course that we will be shooting in early November. The funds raised from this campaign will go towards securing equipment, crew meals, set design, and compensating talent. Any additional funds past our goal will be donated to non-profits focused on drug-awareness.
