Hook Up: A Queer Production in the Making!

My name is Coby Friesen. I am an emerging queer filmmaker about to make my first short film called Hook Up, which is about just that:) I am excited to explore the often funny, strange yet beautiful interactions that occur when individuals decide to “hook up” in the name of sex, love and connection. Making a film (let alone my first!) is a labour of love, and though I tried to make a go of it with a zero dollar budget, that is pretty tough to do if you want to do it right. Donations would help cover the production costs so that my professional crew and I can make the best film possible, resulting in a film that will be submitted to film festivals and used as proof of concept for a tv series with the same name!
