Producing my Record

Donation protected
Hey Guys,
So, as may of you may know and many of you may not know, music has been a passion on mine for as long as I can remember. I was singing in church before I could read and my mother would have to sit in the front row and hold up flash cards to help me remember the words. I began piano lessons at 7 years old, and guitar in 8th grade, when I began composing my own songs! I was told my whole life growing up in a tiny town that I would be a star someday. I was told I would be discovered!

At 29 years old I’ve come to the realization that no one makes tour dreams come true but you. You don’t just get discovered, you discover yourself. There is no magical formula to success and happiness, you just have to put purpose and determination behind the things you want. I am now doing just that. I have been writing and playing daily, and taking opportunities to perform live. I finally feel ready to take a chance on myself.

I have been talking to my producer, Eric Jarvis, about this for a couple of years and he believes in me as much as anyone. We have had multiple conversations and finally a real sit-down to iron out the logistics of my situation and what is going to take to get a quality product out there. I have been agressivly saving for a while myself, but it’s going to take a bit of a push to get me to where I need to be, so after much soul searching, contemplation, and feedback from very supportive friends, I’m finally swallowing my own pride and asking for a little help.

I am signing a production agreement with Eric, who has agreed to work with me for far less that his usual rate, which is so generous of him, but production is not cheap. Much goes into the process with recording, mixing, mastering, and also paying for studio musicians who will contribute elements that Eric or I do not. In addition, Eric will also be mentoring me during production and helping me get set up with my own equipment so that I can continue this process on my own after our portion is finished. I will be able to record and produce my own tracks, as well as be able to perform myself live.

So I’m asking you guys to be part of this process. Our Goal is to produce, record, mix, and master four radio ready/ broadcast quality songs in the studio at Crushpad Productions in Houston. We have estimated with production costs and equipment to continue this journey, we will need $6,000 more. Production will commence when we reach the first $1000 and will continue one song after another as far into the process as we all can make it.

In return of your support you will of course recieve early releases of each track as well as updates on how the process is going so and what you have contributed to making!

I cannot thank you guys enough for believeing in me for all these years and for helping me finally follow my dreams and pursue my passion, and I can't wait to see what the future holds!
