Proctor Family - Joppatowne, MD House Fire -
My name is Cindy and I am raising funds to help my cousin and her 13-year-old daughter who lost everything in the Joppatowne duplex fire early in the morning on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. As you can see by the pictures, the house, and its contents are a total loss. My cousin, Ami, is a single mother and has taught early education in the inner city for several decades. They will have to totally rebuild their lives and replace everything in the household and any donation would be so greatly appreciated. All funds donated will go towards Ami and Beka starting to get back on their feet again and rebuilding their life. We are all grateful that no one in the family was seriously hurt and we pray that the firefighters who were injured in battling the blaze will recover quickly.
Clothes and shoe donations are also being accepted. The mother is an XL/ size 18 with a shoe size of 9 and the daughter is a size medium (very tall) with a shoe size of 10. There is a porch donation box located at 5219 Hazelwood Avenue, Rosedale, MD and donations can be taken to Towne Baptist Church, 536 Trimble Road, Joppa, MD 21085. There will be a porch collection box there as of Thursday, July 1, as well.
