"Procession" Short Film. By Harper McCoy

Hello! My name is Harper McCoy and I am a senior film and television student at DePaul University. For my last project, I am directing a short film I wrote titled "Procession". The story is a drama about three women attending their ex-boyfriend's funeral where personalities clash, and lies are brought to the surface.
This story is about the power of female friendship and how it can overcome grief in many forms.
As many creatives and filmmakers know, producing high-quality work can be expensive! I am asking for two grand for a church location rental, equipment rental, editing services, and care for the cast and crew on set.
This film will be comprised of a woman/non-binary run set, and I hope to fly in the amazingly talented cinematographer Evergreen Winters from California to film this short.
Those of you who know me know my deep deep love for film and my career ambitions. I am confident that by raising money I can produce a high-quality film that will be submitted to film festivals here in Chicago, and then across the U.S.
Anyone who donates $250 or more will be credited as an executive producer and will have an exclusive look at the film before its release.
Please consider donating and supporting women in film!
Thank you,
