Most of you will know that I have been competing in Triathlon for the past 5 years, finishing top in the region in my age group last year, however my dream is to become a Pro Cyclist, I am now focused solely on cycling and am working as hard as I can to achieve this.  I have managed to get into the LEE VALLEY JUNIOR TEAM based in London and have to travel (with the help of my parents) twice a week to train as well as any races that I can enter. To race for the Team I now need to have a different bike (due to sponsorship that the team have which will help me going forward) and as much as I don't want to, I now have to try and sell my current bike to help raise the money required to buy the bike I need, I am working part time but it will take me a very long time to save enough money, my mum and dad (along with close friends and family members) have helped me so much already and I am extremely grateful for all of their support which is why I now feel that I need to try and raise the money I need by myself.  I know some people might think this is just an excuse for me to get a new bike but trust me it isn't, the bike I am planning to get is used as there is no way I can afford a brand new one, I will need to  replace parts on a regular basis and there are many other costs that I need to cover for example race fees, licence and British Cycling membership costs but the money I raise will allow me to race with the Team and give me the best chance of competing, Nationally, in Europe and hopefully in the future, Worldwide.
I know that 2020 has not been a good year for lots of people and any donations no matter how big or small will be gratefully received and will really help me go for my dream.
