Hello everyone, as many of you now know, our dad Andy Darby tragically passed away on Thursday the 18th of august. After a long battle of fighting his demons, sadly they got the better of him but he is now finally at peace which is all he ever wanted. We are well aware that our dad was a huge popular figure of Newton abbot who had a massive impact on so many people along the way during his younger years and later years. We have already heard so many amazing stories about him and his antics and we can’t wait to hear more. We are making this on behalf of all of his children, myself, abbie, anton and nadira. His amazing brothers Steve, Wayne and Shaun and his dear mum and sister Shirley and Tracey. We just want to be able to give him the best send off ever, he deserves to go out in style. Funeral details will be shared shortly once we have all got together and arranged things and the funeral will be open to anyone who wants to come who loved dad and wants to pay their respects. Anything you can give no matter how small would be much appreciated. Thank you so much to everyone who has sent flowers, cards and lovely messages. We have been quite overwhelmed with all the love and kindness you have shown. We loved our dad no matter what regardless of good and bad times, now is a time to focus on the good and celebrate his life. Of all that knew him, we all know he’d wanna celebrate in style. So let’s all get together and for him to be looking down on us all and see the love that he really had from everyone. Thank you so much, on behalf of us all.
