Hello family and friends!

This year I was selected to go on a First Year Global Experience trip with the Leeds School of Business. Each trip has a different focus on a certain aspect of business. I was selected to go on the Italy trip! This trip will try to explain the history, geography, economics, and culture of of Italy. Italy has created the brands that are currently sold in most of the world’s countries in the fields of automobiles, fashion, and food. The trip to Italy includes visits at companies (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Armani, Parmigiano Reggiano), institutions (Bocconi School of Business), and cultural excursions (in areas between Milan and Bologna). 

At Leeds, we are taught about the importance of global issues and cultural differences, and how a global mindset will allow us to recognize good ideas from wherever they might come. The First-Year Global Experience is the first step in our curriculum toward building global competency.

As a student I believe that this trip will help me to develop a global business perspective by experiencing Italian business and culture. I really want to go on this trip so that I may expand my knowledge of the vast world of business. I also just love to travel and Italy has been number one on my list of places I would love to visit.

So this year instead of Christmas gifts or birthday gifts, I'd like to ask if you would please consider donating to my fund raising efforts so I can go on this once in a college career experience. I would be so delighted if you would honor this college student's request and help send her on the coolest trip ever.
