Help Warrior Princess Priya During Spinal Fusion Surgery and Recovery

Priya is having spinal fusion surgery November 4, 2022. It will require a longer hospital stay and extended recovery. Surgery is a result of her paralysis which occured in January 2021 during open heart surgery. Priya’s spine was still developing and her spinal cord injury resulted in loss of needed muscular support. Her neuromuscular scoliosis has gotten to the point where it needs to be resolved to avoid more complications or damage to the spine. She will be in the hospital for at least 5-7 days. She will be out of school for about 3-6 weeks and unable to self-transfer or lift herself for 3 months. Priya is eager to get through it and get rid of the large back brace she’ll need for the first three months. The fundraiser is to help support the loss of governmental support during hospital stays and additional expenses and uncovered costs that have been occurring.
