Ever since I was a little girl, I had a dream of becoming an artist. When I was in High School I was intrigued by the Graphic Design field and took the opportunity to dive headfirst into the world of Graphic Design by enrolling at Northeastern Illinois University. However, that dream is being crushed because I have now taken a gap year from school due to financial difficulties. Since then I have been working and saving to find a way to afford my tuition but need more help.
I am currently working a job while looking for a second position, but I am afraid that even with the money I earn it will not be enough. My financial aid office says I need to pay $14k in full in order to return back to school. If I do not register the next upcoming Fall semester, I will be unable to graduate until 2027 since there are classes only available for me in the Spring semester. I have been enrolled at NEIU since 2019 and tried to find a way to graduate for too long now. Waiting two years will leave a dent in my adult life as I will not be able to follow my professional passions.
I have made this GoFundMe as a calling for help. I feel stuck and scared that I will miss my opportunity to return back to school and deal with the same struggles once more. The money I owe feels impossible to make in such a short amount of time and the money I have saved up isn’t nearly enough. My dear friends and family have helped to support me as much as they can and I am beyond grateful for any help given, but I hope to get more help from a communities support so I can fortunately get out of this rut and achieve my long awaited dream.
All money donated will go directly toward my tuition. Thank you all for your time and needed support. Anything helps!
