Hi. For anyone that knows me knows that I never ask for any help with anything some of my closest friends won’t even be aware of the situation as we haven’t spoken about it widely and have just been getting on with it . We are coming up to nearly 4 years since Gary had an accident falling on the stairs which led to a hypoxic brain injury which has dramatically changed his life and everyone around him. We have been and are still working with the private physio which has worked wonders but he is still unable to walk independently with an aid and continues to have speech difficulties alongside being registered sight impaired . Gary feels that he would like to give it one last push to having a normal life again and would like to try an intense neuro rehabilitation placement which is up to £2000 a week . He’s defied all odds to even be here today and I would like to try and give him this last bit of hope that with the intense physio that he can atleast walk independently even with a walking aid and to be able to spend quality time with his children
