Private operation for our Emi

Hi, my name is Jana and I am fundraising for my daughter Emi that’s how we call her

She has been diagnosed with sleep apnea and enlarged adenoids just before Covid and to avoid operations whilst we had the time when no operations were taking place we have tried all possible therapies (bioresonance, acupuncture, Bowen Therapy, naturopathy, homeopathy and many supplements) which reduces the mucus and she is no longer snotty or regularly ill but her breathing has not improved and after 2 years of waiting we have had another year and a half of appeals and reviews as the NHS will only remove adenoids with tonsils and refused to do just adenoids even though we had two independent ENT specialists in the Czech Republic and the private ENT stating that adenoids at her age now nearly 9 and her not suffering from sore throats would be sufficient, NHS refused and basically told me to go private or back home if I don’t trust their verdict.

NEVER mind that we pay taxes for NHS all our lives.

But, it is what it is and even though an operation in the Czech Republic would be cheaper taking into account all the travel for pre-OP, at least a week to stay before she could fly after the OP and any possible check ups would amount to similar amount as going private in the U.K. where her home is and where she is comfortable having us both her parents present with her.

She needs this asap due to her evening breathing being pretty bad especially in winter even with nebuliser every night.

I am asking anyone who is happy to help us to get the amount of £2500 for her with any spare pound you may have as the private hospital

has given us a date of 9th of April.

I hoped we wouldn’t have to go down this route but we now have no other option.
