I never thought we would writing something like this, but we’re at a bit of a loss and just want to do the best for our son.

Over the past few months, he’s been struggling with ongoing symptoms including extreme tiredness, tummy aches, and frequent headaches, and slowly declining, not being able to do what he loves fully. We’ve been back and forth to the GP and he’s had blood test after blood tests but we are no closer to finding out whats wrong, we keep getting palmed off.

As parents, it’s really hard seeing him not himself and not knowing why and not being able to help!

We’re now looking into getting a private paediatric consultation to try and get some clearer answers and hopefully move things forward a bit quicker. Unfortunately, as this is something that’s already been investigated, it isn’t covered by private health insurance.

We’re hoping to raise money to help cover:

A private paediatric specialist appointment

Further tests or scans if needed

Follow-up appointments

Even just getting that first specialist appointment could make such a difference.

We completely understand that times are tough, so please don’t feel any pressure just sharing this would help us massively!
