Hi, my name is Holly. For over 4 years now I've been struggling with pelvic pain that has been unexplained. Its affecting me so badly now that during my period I'm bedbound, during ovulation I'm bedbound and every single day I'm in pain. I've low red blood cells count due the sheer amount of blood I'm loosing each month and I've been with the NHS gynae team for this amount of time also. I haven't yet been offered a laproscopy to investigate my issues but last year my gynae clinician done an internal and diagnosed me with endometriosis. This year so far I have spent over £1000. That included 2 private dr appointments who are gynae specialists and an endosure test that came back positive for endo/adeno (the test can't differentiate between the 2). I have now booked private surgery that will cost in and around £8000. I have kindly been gifted £1200 of that by another gofunder who is raising funds for his wife and others in the area I live but I thought I would take a chance in seeing if I could raise the funds to pay the surgery as a whole instead of choosing to pay it off in installments and put more pressure on my family. I have 3 kids at home who are wonderful helpers but its upsetting to them seeing their mummy drop to the floor instantly on various occasions with pain and being in and out of hospital worrying them sick. I don't expect many donations but every little does help and all goes into a savings pot for my upcoming surgery which they hope will be June time. This surgery could change my life at this moment. I know endometriosis has no cure, I am aware I will need further surgeries in future but I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Right now I just need a pain free day. A bit of life back. Be able to leave the house without worrying am I going to flare and need to go back to bed. I just want some relief. Thanks for reading and big hugs to fellow sufferers ❤️
