Private cardiologist urgently needed

Update: Unfortunately the first cardiologist I spoke to also decided to label me with anxiety. Mercifully there is a second chance locally, but I am forced to increase the goal on my fundraiser to get to them. I'm really sorry, and hope you can understand the need.

Hello, last year I had to run a similar GoFundMe for finding help from a private cardiologist due to worsening heart symptoms. As time as passed, things have gone very pear shaped. The cardiologist I consulted did organise a CT scan, but because of a stigma of anxiety following me around, it did not get carried out efficiently. For example it was supposed to look for atherosclerosis in my arteries but did not, and they claimed I was suffering anxiety at the time when I was actually suffering shortness of breath from the exertion of reaching the appointment.

Furthermore despite mounting evidence of problems with my ECGs, including new evidence from the UK Cardiologist service of Inferolateral Ischemia, as well as new symptoms such as fibrillation, doctors are still blaming my symptoms on anxiety and stress. It has become clear that trying to convince my NHS doctors will not get me anywhere, and again I am forced to try a private doctor again for a cleaner slate and less chance of anxiety being an influencing factor in their decisions.

I do not want to take money for nothing, because of how poorly my efforts went last time. Ideas for what I can do to return the favour are greatly appreciated. However I also cannot deny that I must get the ball rolling soon. Unfortunately the test I have in mind - a proper repeat of the scan - is NHS only, locally, so my only option is to speak to a private cardiologist as soon as possible and get onto the waiting list quickly. I am now at the age where my grandparents suffered their first heart attacks, of which my grandfather suffered 4 and died in his mid 50s. This of course terrifies me, because our symptoms from my understanding are remarkably similar.

I am truly sorry to have to run this again - you are welcome to let me know if it's out of line as I do worry about that - but I'm also backed into a corner. Assistance no matter how small is greatly appreciated to helping me find normalcy in my life again <3
