Pristaniste Foundation

Hi, my name is Yulia Yudina, and I'm campaigning for the Pristaniste Foundation based in Montenegro.
We help refugees who have fled from the war in Ukraine (https://pristaniste.me)
Most refugees arrive in Montenegro with families, so naturally, one of our top priorities is arranging schools and childcare for children. Unfortunately (and quite often), there is no feasible option for families. That’s why the Pristanište Foundation is working hard on providing quality education for refugees’ children.
This summer, with the closure of schools for the holidays, such requests have only grown enormously. As you can imagine, families have fled war-torn Ukraine with minimal belongings and little financial resources. This has meant that parents and carers are forced to now work to provide for their children. With no free childcare available, parents often have no choice but to leave their children unsupervised during the day in order to work and put food on the table.
In response to this demand, the cooperation of the Pristanište Charitable Foundation and the Adriatic Camp arose, creating a territory of peace, safe dialogue, and education. As a result, teenagers aged 11-17 from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Montenegro and other countries will get an opportunity to attend two summer camps at the Adriatic Camp, which will take place on July 13 and 22.
The Pristanište Foundation received 18 appeals from parents of teenage children whose families were forced to leave their countries and now need help and support to cover the costs of this summer childcare camp. The required amount for the Adriatic Summer Camp shifts is 5970 euros.
We are looking for funds for 18 scholarships for Zakhar, Maria, Kirill, Ilya, Sofia, Eva, Maria, Egor, Alicia, Elizabeth, Maitreya, Varvara, Daria and Xenia, Kristina and Maria, Sofia and Mark from Kiev, Mariupol, Dnipro, Moscow region, Ryazan, Kharkov, Irpen, Odessa, Zaporozhye, Avdiivka, the village of Mayaki in the Odessa region.
Under the professional supervision of mentors who create a space of careful and respectful attitude to each other, children will learn to interact, create, unite, have fun, walk, communicate, play, go beyond patterns, respect themselves and others, contemplate, feel happiness, and reflect.
Please, help us raise money for children! They deserve a break from the horror of the war. Also, please feel free to add a personal note to our young teenage children with your donation.
