Priscilla's Thrift Shop Left Me High and Dry!

This fundraiser was to raise money for Priscilla's Thrift Shop for a horrible abuse case I handled for the manager, Karen.

Seven cats and three kittens came to the shop. The hoarder drove to the shop from the west coast in 90° heat. She stopped along the way and stayed in air conditioned motels, while the cats stayed in her van... in the heat.

Upon arrival, I fed and bathed the cats and kittens, who were emaciated and urine scalded. One of the cats, Frannie, almost died. She was the mother of the kittens, at 14 years of age!

I fell out with Karen because we let a family foster Frannie after her time spent at the emergency vet after she collapsed while I was bathing her. Frannie was peeing outside the box. The foster family put a diaper on her! After she had lost all her fur to urine scalding! They wanted her back, after we "fixed" her. I said no. Karen said yes. I took Frannie and still have her.

Frannie has blood in her urine and she pees all over the house. I have spent thousands of dollars, trying to get a diagnosis and find out how to help her. Most recently, I spent $465 for an ultrasound. Still no results.

Frannie wasn't the only cat Karen stuck me with. I still have Zoey, who came to the shop with kittens... and, Renegade, who was a feral kitten and unadoptable. I also have Pancake, who I couldn't find a home for, and Tortilla, who got sick after being spayed and almost died. I spent hundreds of dollars getting her well, including an ultrasound.
