Help me donate prints of hope to cancer patients and support cancer research.

Over the past few months, I’ve been in close contact with the patient care committee of the AVL Cancer Hospital, to carefully select 5 pictures of my tiny friends that will now become part of a selection of framed art offered in the patient rooms.

Volunteers visit the rooms with a set of works and each patient gets to choose one to have with them during their stay. Until now, there were no animals in the collection and with mine, there will be. Hoping these tiny friends will keep a patient company, lift their spirits, or offer courage during hard days

AVL is where I received all my breast cancer treatments too, and I couldn’t have wished for a better place. They truly saved my life, so I wanted to do something back.

On August 27, I’ll return to these patient rooms. I will personally hand over the 5 framed prints and a cheque for the AVL Foundation, to support their leading cancer research. One international project they’re researching on is how the immunotherapy that I received for my breast cancer could also help patients with other types of cancer.

Every little donation helps: it will be used for framing the 5 prints and for funding the AVL Foundation.
