Assalam O Alikum,
My name is Waleed Rasheed (Resident of Princeton). I am one of the board members for this masjid as well as the Treasurer and Secretary. This campaign is to raise money for setting up a Musallah in Princeton (East of McKinney), Texas. The nearest mosque for residents of Princeton, Anna, Melissa and Farmersville is at least 15 - 20 miles. The residents of Princeton have leased a place for four years and construction/remodeling work is in process (This includes having a separate prayer hall for brothers and sisters, adding another restroom for sisters, wudu area, carpet for prayer halls, security system, sound system.). Most of the work is either required by the city, before they can issues "Certificate of Occupancy" or basic requirements of a Musallah. Our goal is to start praying by first week of November, but we had to hold some of the orders due to lack of funds. Your donation will help us immensely to keep the work going and complete the project successfully in time, InShaaAllah.
