Princeton High School student David G

Former PHS student David G. tragically passed away at his home in New Brunswick on Monday, August 15. Adding to the pain of his loss, his family lacks the resources to transport his body back home to Guatemala.

David, who had no next of kin living in the US, said on numerous occasions that PHS students and staff were like a second family to him. The PHS ESL department is now collecting donations to help his family in Guatemala with transportation and funeral costs.

David lived an incredibly difficult short life but leaves us with memories of his bright smile and easy laugh. He loved his family, and his dream of one day bringing them to NJ to be with him is what drove him to keep fighting through hard times. He was a devoted friend to several other PHS ESL students, and will be greatly missed.
