Princeton battling stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Flavian, some of you know me as Prince. I started this to help my younger brother Princeton. Princeton was diagnosed with stage four angiosarcoma the beginning of April 2022, just after his 32nd Birthday. This diagnosis was totally unforeseen, and a shock to Princeton and our family. He was living on Big Island , Hawaii when he first went into the hospital with headaches and coughing up blood. We were raised in Hawaii and Princeton Had just gotten the chance to move back, and decided to start his own business there the end of 2021. The care was beyond what the big island could provide for him, so they flew him to Queens hospital in Honolulu Hawaii. Where they did scans, biopsies, and other tests that resulted in a devastating news that he had stage four angiosarcoma. Angiosarcoma is a super rare blood vessel cancer that is also very aggressive. He has the tumors in his brain, lungs, mouth, and was having to receive blood transfusions every 3-5 days. Princeton was released from the hospital, and was to start radiation three weeks later. At that point they did another scan, to find the tumors in his Brain had almost doubled in just that short amount of time. At this point he has 24 tumors and counting.
With the hospital in Hawaii not taking quick action to help him, both he and my dad decided to move him back to L.A. His girlfriend Chloe did tons of research and found great doctors in the LA area to help Princeton with this super rare condition. Shortly after relocating to LA, Princeton went to his first appointment with a new doctor. This doctor immediately put him into full brain radiation. He was to receive 10 sessions over the next two weeks. After his first session of radiation, Princeton tested positive for COVID-19. This, as you can imagine added more problems to the situation, and he started needing to receive blood transfusions almost every day. Princeton walked into the doctors office to receive his treatment, and after One week of treatment, and having Covid, Princeton became immobile and nonverbal. My dad was going to the hospital three times a day to feed and take care of my brother. Now that Princeton is done with his treatment he is no longer able to stay in the hospital. And my elderly Parents are now faced with the challenge and the struggle of taking care of my bedridden brother. His girlfriend Chloe has been gracious enough to fly to LA from Hawaii to help in the care of my brother for the time being , but it’s still is too much of a physical burden for Chloe and my parents to take on alone. I wish that I could be there more to help, but I live out of state. We are now faced with having to look at home care for my brother. Which is thousands of dollars per month, and not covered by insurance. We have tried to provide for my brother as much as possible, but it’s now become overwhelming. I’m reaching out now for a helping hand from our friends and family during this difficult time. Princetons speech has been improving with each passing day, and We are not giving up hope. The family appreciates any support that can be given! As Princeton would say “ Mahalo”
