Our daughter Isabella has such an amazing spirit!! She has been through so many obstacles in her life, starting the day she was born. December 14, 2010 our little princess was born and she was diagnosed with Arthrogrposis Multiplex Congenitia the very next day, to kind of sum that up for you it is pretty much joint contractures in two or more areas of the body. Isabella was born with club foot, her legs were stuck in Indian style, her arms were locked straight, and her wrists were curved outward. She has had multiple surgeries and continues with therapy on a weekly basis to give her as much independence as possible. She is still unable to stand unassisted and walk on her own, but she can feed herself with a fork which she taught herself that on her own. We have just recently got a motorized wheelchair for her to give her more independence and she enjoys that more than anything but still is happy to work on standing and walking. I am starting this fundraiser because we are not able to bring her motor wheelchair places because we do not have a handicap accessible vehicle. Isabella is now 5 and is going to be 6 in December and we would like more than anything for her to be able to bring her new chair places so she can be more independent when we are out. This fundraiser is to help us get a handicap accessible van for our little princess. Anything is appreciated.
