Thank you for checking us out. I am Sally, owner of Magic Meadows Alpacas. We have had alpacas for 11 years. Princess Violet is our first cria (baby) alpaca in 6 years. And she is all legs, even in the womb. She is as friendly as her dad, Famous Rainier.

Princess Violet has legs that are a little too long for her, and the vets have diagnosed her with Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL), a condition many dogs face. She will need surgery on both legs. We had our vet take x-rays when she was a couple weeks old, we drove 3 hours round trip to University of Wisconsin for their vets to ultrasound her and advise us on a solution. When Violet was 2.5 months old our vet took more x-rays.

Her mom Ewok was at the University of Wisconsin for 10 days to be treated for a deadly parasite, and Violet was there with her. The vets saved her life with a $7,400 vet bill to follow. Violet's young life has been challenging, and yet she continues to thrive. We hope to raise enough money for Violet’s surgery when it is needed and to pay Ewok's 10 day hospital stay
