Shelba Appleby Medical Fund #shelbastrong

Great-Aunts Donna and Brenda are creating this fundraiser to help with Shelba’s battle with a brain tumor. Her family is in need of support to offset the costs.

Shelba is the most loving beautiful little girl with a heart of gold. She loves everyone and is much wiser than her years. She is a great big sister to her brother. Shelba loves playing princess, singing, and dancing. She is so full of life.

Sweet Shelba began her fight on September 6th, 2021. Her surgery is scheduled for September 8, 2021. Her mother described the events leading up to this horrendous diagnosis:

Yesterday, 9/6/21, our world was turned upside down. We took Shelba to the ER because she had been complaining of headaches and had woken in the middle of the night to go potty and couldn’t walk. We thought we would take her to the ER and they would say she was having migraines. We were so wrong. The CT scan came back showing a large brain tumor. We were sent straight to CHOA to meet with the chief pediatric neurosurgeon. I am asking you to please say a prayer for all of us as this is not what we were expecting. She’s been so strong and brave and we are so proud of her. Thank you in advance for all the prayers ❤️
