Princess Kitanna get a chance to live a long happy life

My name is Jacqueline Silva. I found my kitten and her sister when they were approx 3-4 weeks old in a filthy old garage that is adjacent to my workplace that hasn’t been in use for many many years. It is full of rusted carts and debris. Both kittens were missing their tails. I believe someone cut them off due to the fact they appeared to be clean straight cuts. The wounds were scabbed over. I gave one kitten to a loving home and decided within 5 minutes I would keep the other one. I took her to a vet who said as long as it was dry she would need no care to the area. But as she has grown and become so active in the house she has bumped it and it has bled small amounts on several occasions. Yesterday I brought her to the mobile spay neuter clinic to get fixed. After they had already performed the procedure they called me to inform me that her stump was bleeding profusely and she had a high fever. So I okayed a shot of antibiotics. They told me when I picked her up that I had two weeks to do something about her tail or the infection would spread to her spine and she would die. Needless to say since then I have been a mess. I make minimum wage. My only son is away at an expensive college. He is a scholarship student but there are still costs involved. I have never owned a cat and I am almost 50. Never liked cats if I can be honest. But this little baby has changed my life in so many ways. She is always happy to see me when I come home from work. She follows me everywhere. She sleeps on top of me during the night. I love her so much. I have been on the phone and online all day trying to figure out how to get this paid for and this was suggested to me as an option. Tomorrow I am making an appointment for her to get a consultation for the cost. I imagine it will be several thousand dollars. I have also contacted several animal rights groups and animal activist groups and am waiting to hear back. The problem is she can’t wait months and months to get approved for funds. Tomorrow I will leave the name and number of the vet if you are more comfortable giving the money directly to them. Thank you for any help you can offer. She is only 5 pounds but she is strong.
