Jen’s Journey - liver transplant fund

UPDATE 

Through your generosity we were able to fly a potential donor here who underwent testing see if they were a match for Jen. Keep the prayers going that we get good news  

Jen would like to thank each and every one of you for making this possible and asks that you keep her in your prayers , especially this week as she will be going through a surgical procedure Friday due to her liver complications.

Jen is 48 years old, a mother of three , a fiancé, a daughter , an auntie , a sister and to so many a friend .  Jen has been battling liver disease
for three years and is in desperate need of a
liver transplant. Her best odds are to find a
living  donor . Someone who matches her
liver needs and is willing to give her the gift of
life.
To be a living donor is no small undertaking. It requires weeks of tests to see if you are even
eligible and then if a match is made , several
more weeks for tests, surgery and  recovery .
It truly is a gift of love. 

I am starting this fundraiser to help defer 
some of the costs for Jen and a donor.  

Jen would never want someone to incur a
huge expense for her and wanted to cover
costs out of her own pocket .
As you know she has not been able to work in three years and all this comes at an expense .

There is a potential donor from out of state ,
a family friend , and I think it would be 
wonderful if we could defer some of these
costs to get them here and tested !
