Prince Davis – Riding Toward His Dreams
Youth Equestrian | Show Jumper in Training | Age 12
About Prince
Prince Davis, a 12-year-old student at Wiseburn Middle School (GPA 3.55), discovered his love for horses before he could read. What began with a rocking horse from his grandparents grew into a lifelong passion. Raised in Los Angeles, Prince trained under “Uncle Tod,” a respected local horseman, learning discipline, care, and responsibility.
He has since trained at Mystic Canyon Stable, Imperial Equestrian Center, Alderin Sport Horses, and is currently training at Walker Horse Farms under elite show-jumper mentorship. Each summer, he travels to Montclair Stables (Georgia) to refine his dressage and jumping technique.
His Journey
Prince has mastered both Western and English styles, excelling in groundwork, flatwork, and jumping. He is preparing to enter entry-level show-jumping competitions in 2026 with a dream of advancing to the FEI Youth Division.
His Why
“Horses changed my life. They taught me patience, respect, and focus. Every time I ride, I feel stronger and freer. My dream is to keep learning, compete in big shows, and help other kids see that anything is possible if you work hard and believe in yourself. When I ride, it’s just me and the horse, trusting each other and moving forward. With anything in life, we must see, envision, and move forward!”
We are fundraising to support Prince's training, travel, and competition expenses as he pursues his dream to gain visibility for college equestrian recruitment and earn university sports scholarships that will open doors to higher education.
