Prime Quarters Barn Fire
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and equine community,
We are asking for your hearts and your help. On Saturday, April 5th, Troy and Jody Prime suffered a tragic barn fire at their facility, Prime Quarters, which is located just outside of Blissfield, MI. Crews were able to rescue the horses and animals who lived in the barn. The fire lasted over 2.5 hours and resulted in a total loss of the facility and all contents inside. While the barn was fully insured, as most of us know, it will not come close to covering the expenses to rebuild the facility, let alone replace all of the contents that were lost. Our community is heart broken, and we are setting up this fund in response to the generous requests to help.
For those of you who know Troy and Jody, you know how much light they bring to this world. Troy and Jody have been proud members and supporters of AQHA, IHSA, 4H, and many other equine organizations over the years. Prime Quarters has been home to hundreds of riders and was filled with endless life lessons, smiles, laughter, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Prime Quarters was also home of the Adrian College Equestrian Team. Troy and Jody are our coaches, mentors, and most importantly, family. They graciously welcomed the team into their barn and continue to support us. They coach us while riding, but perhaps more importantly, they prepare us for our future careers and endeavors. Those who have had the pleasure to be coached by Troy and Jody would not be where they are today without them. Their constant support, guidance, and leadership is inspiring. The lessons that we learn from them, in and out of the horse world, are something that we will remember and cherish forever.
The devastation of this barn fire has impacted the Prime family and their riders both financially and emotionally. Your continued thoughts and prayers mean the world to them. Any financial contribution that you are able to offer for Prime Quarters is greatly appreciated. Supporting this family will help current and future riders as the Prime family moves forward in the planning of a new facility. The Primes have touched lives far and wide, and now it’s time for them to receive the help they so often extend to others.
Thank you so much for your love and generosity.
