Primary care taker taken down by cancer and hardship.

Hello there, I am creating this account for my Mom, (Tammy) who is a very hard worker and always a glass half full kind of woman. About 2 years ago she had to quit working to solely take care of my father and their 9 year old grandson whom they got custody of when he was 4 years old. We recently found out that she has cancer, she was diagnosed with advance endometrial cancer that has also spread to 3 or the 4 lymph nodes, and has spread outside of them. She is Now been Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, it is now in her right side pelvic bones and in the lymph nodes in her lungs. she's had to have a full hysterectomy last .she has started her chemotherapy, she has already lost all of her hair, and her 2nd round of chemo is on Friday May 24, 2024. Here is a little bit of background on my mom, Tammy; Tammy was born and raised in Texas and had 3 children of her own by the age 26, when she met my Dad in 1990 they decided they wanted to spend their life's together and when they hit 10 years they got custody of twin girls when they were 3 and a half months old (their great Nieces who's mother abandoned them) who they loved and raised as their own their whole lives. In 2011 Her husband had 4 heart attacks in 1 week which led to him having a quadrupedal bypass heart surgery. He continued to do small odd jobs a couple years later but this left Tammy as the soul provider of the home due to him becoming disabled 100% with the heart condition and diabetes, the doctors said that he would never be able to work again. Tammy got custody and raised her oldest Grandson from the age of 8 years old until he became an adult. Tammy at one point was raising 5 children that included 3 of her grandchildren and the twin girls while working and taking care of her husband. Tammy worked and worked all the way up to about 2 years ago when she couldn't work and take care of her husband and grandson anymore because they needed more attention than she could give while working. at this point her husband was wheelchair bound with a broken back and couldn't drive or do much on his own anymore which ended up leading him to get a serious infection that left him bed ridden for almost a entire year. She is now going through her own hardship with cancer and stressing about how they are going to be able to live, maintain bills, and be able to make it back and forth to bother her and her husbands doctors appointments, which their doctors and the cancer specialists are a 45 minute drive from their rental home. She has never asked for help from anyone because it could inconvenience them in their lives. This is important to our family because she doesn't have insurance and the state of Texas says that she doesn't qualify for insurance at this time. And although her children help as much as we can, she doesn't want to be a burden on their children, and their family's. We can only do so much with having our own family's, to raise and care for. She is needing help with helping with her bills which are only the necessity's, they only have rent, lights, water bill, and having gas in their car to go to town for the doctor. the funds will only be used to help them with bills and gas back and forth to appointments. To those who took the time out of your days thank you for reading this, and to anyone and everyone who donates thank you it is and will truly be a blessing to help them have less stress in their lives. Thank You.
