My name is Robert and I am both a member and ally of the LGBTQIA+ community in the United States of America who wants to help others where I can and must. Pride is about celebrating who we are, but it’s also about protecting our community’s most vulnerable. By donating, you’re not just giving money—you’re giving someone a chance to live truly and safely. Your gift could be the difference between despair and a new beginning.

To protect their safety, my fellow LGBTQIA+ friends wish to remain anonymous, but I’m committed to transparency. Funds will be managed responsibly, with updates on how donations are used. I’ll share stories (with consent) to show the impact of your generosity. The funds we receive will be used to help rescue vulnerable LGBTQ youths from abusive households/living situations and provide them with essential supplies and resources (food, water, shelter, internet, sanitation, medical and legal counseling) for fixing their lives up.

The $8,000 goal is ambitious, but we will break it down into digestible chunks. Every $4,000 we raise will fully fund a youth’s move to safe emergency housing plus transportation and basic essentials. In practical terms, $8,000 will secure a safe home and start-up support for one LGBTQ young person, and cover partial aid (food, counseling, supplies) for another as reported in an update. We will let our donors know every $2,000 donated where their money has gone to so they know that they will have helped someone in truly great need even in these troubling times.
