Pride of Mesa Ridge Marching Band
Many called her Lisa, but the kids from The Pride of Mesa Ridge Marching Band called her "Mom!" Mom was there for the kids and she treated them as if they were her own. Lisa lived her life as a servant for Him. In that, she did so much for everyone. For her family and friends, her community and anyone who was blessed to cross her path that day. Lisa lived in the “Now” and would always take time for anyone. Those who knew saw this first hand a multitude of times. She would take time for people in need and passionately listen to anyone’s story. From a simple smile or a kind word, she spread Christ's love in the best way possible. Her gentle spirit and generous heart touch countless people along her journey. She didn't like to be fussed over; she was a giver. She kept her cancer private to most. When she was diagnosed, she did NOT say, “Why me God?” but she said, “Why NOT me?” She stated that if one person could get saved in this, it would be worth it. Along her 18 month battle with cancer she continued to pray, comfort and bless other cancer patients. She truly lived a Christ like life. She was truly a mom to all and was greatly appreciated for her just being herself, "MOM". Lisa wanted to make sure that when she went to be with our Father in heaven that people would donate to The Pride of Mesa Ridge Marching band in lieu of flowers. So please honor this “MOM” and help her continue to bless others even though she is not here!
